Hi, I’m Dvora Citron—Registered Nurse, National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach, and Grandmother.

For decades, I cared for others - as a hospital nurse, school nurse, and advocate for families in my community. But like many women in midlife, I reached a turning point of my own.

After surgeries, hormonal shifts, and years of putting myself last, I felt inflamed, fatigued, and disconnected from the woman I knew myself to be. I wasn’t broken, but I wasn’t thriving.

I didn’t want to simply get through aging.

I wanted to feel strong in my body. Clear in my mind. Confident in who I was becoming.

So I pivoted. I immersed myself in nutrition, movement, mindfulness, and longevity science—grounded in lifestyle medicine and shaped by my clinical nursing background. Through plant-forward eating, metabolic health, and sustainable daily practices, my body began to change.

My joints stopped aching.
My energy returned.
I felt grounded, capable—and yes, sexy.

That experience changed the trajectory of my life—and my work.

I created slant2plants® not to promote perfection, restriction, or all-or-nothing rules—but to support women in making meaningful, doable shifts that restore vitality and self-trust.

This is a space for women—especially those in midlife and beyond—who want to:

  • Feel better in their bodies without extreme measures
  • Build strength, energy, and metabolic resilience
  • Use food, movement, and mindset as tools for longevity
  • Age with intention, confidence, and agency

Plant-based nutrition is a cornerstone of my work—but not a requirement. What matters most is alignment: with your body, your values, and the life you want to be living now.
